I found a new website with LOTS of delicious things! It’s called JADE TRIBE and this handwoven statement collar necklace is FABULOUS!  Jewelry_icon_zoom_dc6e739f-e348-4089-bfcb-85b11c4e8aa2_largeIt’s woven using waxed cotton cord and howlite beads. You can get it HERE!

MANIAMANIA

I am currently lusting over MANIAMANIA. Everything on the site is truly a WORK OF ART!

Of course the one piece I REALLY like is SOLD OUT! fatale_gold_large

This is called FATALE. It’s fabulous! You can see the whole collection HERE.

TUSK!

I love dramatic jewelry! I’m not so much the dainty jewelry person. I like pieces that SPEAK UP! However, I am small in stature and bone so i can’t take it TOO BIG.horn_ncklce_m_kule_11_9_12-3409_2

I think this tusk with it’s bold box link chain is awesome.  It’s actually called a HORN on the KULE website. (Horn being a symbol of good luck). Find it HERE. (I can’t help but think of that FLEETWOOD MAC song every time I look at it.

BRILLIANT

Kenneth Jay Lane. This one originally was inspired by a precious gems piece created by BULGARI. The Bulgari piece was a double headed tiger copied by Kenneth. The bracelet is fashioned of ruby stones set very close, and the head is crowned by an emerald. Everything is lavishly surrounded with crystal baguettes and brilliants, with garnet eyes. The strange thing is that the pictures I find online refer to this bracelet below as a double headed tiger but I did find one reference of “sea-creature”. I’m just not sure…it has ears and fierce teeth.

CORAL O!

Incredible Kenneth Jay Lane necklace.

The original one above was made for Jackie O!

In the late 1960’s Jackie Kennedy Onassis commissioned costume jewelry designer Kenneth Jay Lane to duplicate a necklace that Onassis had given her. The ONLY piece of  jewelry he ever made by commission. They agreed that he wouldn’t charge her for the mold which is very expensive, if he could use it for his own collection and make copies. This is a picture of her necklace from his book, “FAKING IT”. It was then made in coral and turquoise colored stones. Fab in coral, wish I could see it in turquoise!
